When you think of Indian cuisine, what do you think of? If you’re Scott, it evokes memories of childhood family takeaways around the dinner table on payday Friday. Sharing starters, nicking naans, pinching poppadoms, and trying to work out from the scribbles on top of the tupperware lids which curry is yours. Followed by the classic “this is mine, no that one’s mine” and the inner meal trades of “I’ll give you one of my bhajis for a bit of your Rogan Josh?”. If your family is anything like this, it often ends in (at least) one person biting off more heat than they can chew and regretting it instantly, whilst proclaiming “no, no I like it this spicy – I’m not sweating from the curry, it’s just warm in here…”.
