Indian restaurant and takeaway of the year British Curry Awards
Loanhead restaurant The Radhuni is celebrating for the third time this year after being shortlisted in the prestigious British Curry Awards.
In September, the 120 cover Indian-Bangladeshi restaurant received the award for Scotland’s best South Asian restaurant at the Asian Restaurants and Takeaway Association (ARTA) Awards in London. In April its Head Chef Ashok Ram was named Chef of the Year in the Scottish Curry Awards.
Now Radhuni, whose name means ‘passionate cook’ in Bengali, has been shortlisted as Scotland’s spice restaurant and takeaway of the year in the British Curry Awards which will be announced at the Battersea Evolution, London, on 26 November.
Managing Partner Habibur Khan said:
“It has been an amazing year for Radhuni. The honours just keep on coming! To be shortlisted in these Awards, known as the UK’s industry Oscars, is another great success for our creative and hard working team in Midlothian.”
