One of Midlothian’s leading restaurants has urged diners to stay away – shortly after being given the all-clear to open its doors again.
The owners of Radhuni in Loanhead are delighted that Midlothian will next week move from Tier 3 to Tier 2 in the pandemic restrictions, which means it can resume serving alcohol with meals from this coming Tuesday.
However, people living in Tiers 3 and 4 will be breaking the law if they make non-essential journeys outside their own council area. Neighbouring Edinburgh is in Tier 3 and West Lothian is in Tier 4, the highest level.
Habibur Khan, Radhuni’s managing partner, said: “We have many regular customers across a wide section of central Scotland but are advising those outside Midlothian not to travel into our less restricted area. They could be putting others at risk.
