Food review: Takeaway a slice of heaven from Radhuni

MIDLOTHIAN ADVERTISER REVIEWS RADHUNI

On Wednesday, my wife and I enjoyed a tasty treat from award-winning Loanhead restaurant Radhuni, the perfect accompaniment to watching a Scotland football win on the telly!

We had the delicious Haggis Pakoras for starters, the Indian/ Scottish fusion leaving a real kick ahead of the World Cup qualifier.

For the main my Chicken Pathia was so incredibly tender and tasty that I forgot for a moment this was a delivery and was taken back to a time when we could enjoy trips to our favourite local eateries.

My wife enjoyed the “succulent” and “perfectly spiced” Kathmandu Murgh for her main.

The pilau rice, Kingfisher beers, lamb chops, garlic naan, and Saag Aloo were equally enjoyed, as part of our treat to ourselves.

So while we can’t currently go out to our favourite local restaurants, we can still enjoy the best Midlothian has to offer, delivered straight to our door.
