The Radhuni is located on Clerk Street in Loanhead, Midlothian — a small town just south of Edinburgh that’s quick and easy to reach from most parts of the city. We’re right in the heart of Loanhead, so once you’re in the town, you won’t have any trouble finding us.

Coming By Car

Coming By Car from Edinburgh

From Edinburgh city centre, Loanhead is around 6–7 miles south and takes roughly 15 minutes in normal traffic. Here’s the simplest route:

From Edinburgh City Centre (via A701):

Head south on Nicolson Street, which becomes Clerk Street, then continue onto the A701 (Liberton Road). Follow signs for Loanhead — you’ll arrive in the town centre in around 15 minutes.

From the City Bypass (A720):

Exit at the Straiton junction and follow signs for Loanhead. The restaurant is a short drive from the bypass, making it very convenient if you’re coming from west Edinburgh, Livingston, or the Borders.

From Bonnyrigg or Dalkeith:

Head north-west on the B703 towards Loanhead. The journey takes around 10 minutes.

Parking:

Free parking is available near the restaurant. You won’t need to worry about feeding a meter or finding a space — just arrive and enjoy your evening.

Loanhead is well served by buses from Edinburgh city centre. The following Lothian Buses routes stop in or near Loanhead:

— runs from Edinburgh city centre through Liberton to Loanhead

— serves Loanhead from the city
